She’s our guardian angel who facilitates that we can focus on what we are good at; namely solving problems. So in a sense we’re all in this together to solve challenges. Our challenges span from making Dubai a better and happier place to live – to making sure that our business travels are booked, our visitors feel welcome and know where to go and in general making sure that we have what we need to function optimal. She likes that no one tells her what to do and how to do it as she is independent and knows how to function in a casual yet professional environment.
Josephine is an integral and very important part of who we are. She is one of us and valued as high as any other of our colleagues. What she is good at in her personal life is what makes her so great at her job; She makes things happen to make our office-family thrive and be happy.
One of the things that are most important in our Teletronics family is our working culture; Everyone are valuable and contribute to the best of their ability. We do things because it makes sense – not because “we all ways do it like that”. Josephine is an important part of that, she has an opinion of how to do things smartest and she’s willing to challenge something she thinks could be done smarter and also to be challenged by whoever has a suggestion for her of how to do things. She’s quite proactive, so when she sees something “going south” she takes action and either fix the problem or let someone know about the problem.
Honesty is very important to Josephine, she knows it’s of outmost importance to maintain ones credibility when things move fast. So she does her best in always being able to stand by what she says or does. It’s better to say “I don’t know –let’s find out…” than give a knowingly wrong answer. That being said, in our core domain we encourage experiments –and we know that experiments sometime fail. We don’t see that as failure, we see it as learning experiences.
If you recognise yourself in Josephine, please get in touch. We’d love to hear from you.
This is Steve. He is looking for more colleagues.
Steve enjoys creating. Currently, he creates software at Teletronics. He also enjoys drinking coffee. This he also does at Teletronics. In fact, most of the things he enjoys, he can do at Teletronics. The list includes, but is not limited to the following:
He gets up in the morning and has ideas. When he gets to work, he spends his time either implementing his ideas, getting more ideas or helping others implement or get ideas.
It would be contradictory to describe a typical day at the office. The most typical thing that happens for him, is that as he leaves work he reflects on his day and concludes that he has either learned something new or helped someone else learn something new.
Steve never even considered that he would work in the software industry until he suddenly found himself at Teletronics. He thought his education and experience didn’t apply to software. Turns out he was wrong. Turns out, that if you have ideas and tend to ponder on how something – anything – can be improved, then you can work in the software industry.
If you would like to work with Steve, get in touch. We’d love to hear from you.
